Andrew’s JustWater2022 Challenge

I will drink nothing except for water in 2022. Why? I want to raise funds for charities that mean a lot to my family and me; plus, I like a challenge and it’s healthy, so why not :-) I am fundraising for four registered charities: i) MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY NHS FOUNDATION TRUST, because the Rainbow Room at St Mary’s Hospital helped us after our firstborn son, Sebastian, passed away (if you would like more information on why this charity means so much to us, or to donate to this charity only, please visit kindlink.com/fundraising/KindLink-Foundation-Fundraising/4456); ii) WIGTON BATHS TRUST, because this is a local community-operated non-profit swimming pool, which was taken over from the council by some local residents in 2015 and is an important facility for people of all ages who live in the surrounding areas (I became a trustee here in 2021); iii) ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF BIRDS, because we live next door to one of their reserves, Campfield Marsh, and they do fantastic work for nature and wildlife (I started volunteering here in 2021); iv) KNOXWOOD WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTRE, because this is a great, yet small, charity helping lots of different animal species in our area (I hope to begin volunteering here in early 2022, subject to the pandemic). I am also fundraising for my local community rowing team, the Bowness Belle rowers, but we are not yet a registered charity or sports club - if you would like to donate to this great community project, please let me know.
