Recently Kisiizi said farewell to Nancy Mwebesa who has served in the hospital for 45 years. Her care for those who are mentally unwell and her work to break the stigma of mental illness has been inspirational.

Welcome to the fundraising page for the new Maternity Ward at Kisiizi. This ward will be beside the operating theatres, on the site of the old Ahumuza Ward. Plans are in their early stages and we will post updates as they develop.

We give thanks for Sister Ann Moore who leaves Kisiizi today after an amazing 23 years of dedicated service to Kisiizi Hospital and the School of Nursing. We wish her well as she travels and settles into life back in the UK.
