Anna Stokes Stokes from Royal London - London Office started a new campaign - Fiona's Skydive supporting All charitable work by Turn2us
On Sunday 5th May 2024 I will be flying through the clouds from over 10,000ft at up to 125mph doing a Skydive!
This is a super exciting experience that forms one of my bucket list items (I am 50 this year….but sshhhh don’t tell anyone!!)
As part of this exhilarating experience, I will also be fundraising for Turn2us who are a fantastic charity that raise money for those people experiencing financial hardships. This is a very real situation for us all with the current cost of living crisis (high inflation and rising interest rates etc.) so please give generously!!
Sophie Love from Royal London started a new campaign - Marz B Skydiving for Hope supporting All charitable work by Turn2us
Although I was born in Poland, the UK has been my home for the last 25 years. I consider myself to be lucky to make the most of some amazing opportunities this country has to offer. Not everyone who resides here is as fortunate though. Shockingly, 14.4 million of us are living in poverty in the UK including 4.2 million children! As both: UK resident and a parent – I care deeply about the presence and the future of living here. Turn2us is a national charity that exists to stop people being swept into poverty, and supports them to thrive so they can lift themselves from financial insecurity. Tackling Financial Insecurity Together | Turn2us On 5th of May 2024 Turn2us, who is also Royal London charity partner, celebrates its 125 birthday! I will be jumping - not in the garden (as in my campaign picture) but rather jumping out of an aeroplane, with the intention to alleviate poverty in UK by helping to raise money for families who are facing financial insecurities, so that they can thrive into the future. Please help do it.
Together – we will end poverty in the UK!
Sophie Love from Royal London - Edinburgh Office started a new campaign - Nicola Davidson - Charity Skydive supporting All charitable work by Turn2us
In a moment of weakness, I decided that it would be a good idea to jump out of a plane! To be fair it's for Turn 2 Us - a charity which provides practical help to people who are struggling financially. This charity can really make a difference to people in financial crisis - potentially preventing them from sinking into unmanageable debt, and the associated Wellbeing issues. I'll be jumping on Monday 27th May (weather permitting) from an airfield in St Andrews, alongside a colleague from Edinburgh. Wish me luck !!

first off i want to thank everyone who has given a donation or sent me words of encouragement it really helps. Last week i completed 29Km in total as part of my training. due to the high winds i have had do run on a treadmill but the steps and distance still count. This week i am due to complete 24.5Km which is just over half a marathon. Thanks for all your support so far and keep it coming. It really will make a difference. attached is a picture of one of the longer runs i completed this week (16Km).
