The Story
Our general project is to help maintain and support our babies hospice in order for our babies and children to receive the specialist care they desperately need.
Zoe's Place Baby Hospice - Liverpool
Zoe's Place Baby Hospice Liverpool, is one of only three baby specific hospices in the UK providing respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and children age 0-6 who have life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. We provide one to one nursing care within our 6 bedded hospice, 24 hours a day.
We also have our bereavement unit called our 'Snowdrop Suite' which is used by near by maternity units with families going through what can only be described as unimaginable.
We are required to raise £1.6 million per year just to maintain the facilities we provide and to keep our doors open, equating to around £4,500 a day.
We are a life line to around 55 families currently with a waiting list ongoing.
