The Story

VECC are embarking on a number of Environmental projects to reduce the carbon footprint of operating the club, as well as minimising our running costs. The key projects are: - Solar panels on the clubhouse roof - Replacing equipment with more energy efficient alternatives - Installing timers, sensors & thermostats to reduce power needs for heating & hot water - Eco-friendly ground machinery - Electric vehicle charging points - Rainwater harvesting, storage & irrigation We have access to some fund matching grants to partially cover some of the cost. However, we will need to raise at least £50,000 ourselves. Please donate generously to help make VECC the Greenest Cricket Club in Surrey. Please also reach out to any Businesses that would be interested in Sponsoring or Supporting any of these Environmental projects.
