The Story
On 13th August, Lauren, Jamie, James and Josh will be taking on the 3 peaks 24 hour challenge in aid of the St Jerome's Centre.
The UK committee have worked hard to ensure all staff and children at the home have remained safe during the pandemic. Due to Covid-19, the Kenyan Government have announced all schools will remain closed until January 2021 (10 months in total). This is a huge change for everyone at the home and we worry about the effect this will have on the children's education. Any money raised from this challenge will go towards funding much needed text books and a tutor for the children to make sure they don't fall behind in their studies.
If you would like to donate, we would be so grateful. We hope to complete Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis within 24 hours, covering 26 miles on foot with a total ascent of 10,052ft and driving ourselves 462 miles in a yellow Peugeot 107-help!
Thank you from everyone at The St Jerome's Centre, we hope you are all keeping well in these challenging times.
