Story of Remembering Chloe

Our daughter Chloe passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the early hours of 9th May 2015 while abroad on a family holiday. Her death is classified as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. If love could have saved her she would have lived forever.

Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) is the sudden and unexpected death of a child between 1 and 18 years of age, which remains unexplained after a thorough investigation is conducted. SUDC is a category of death which eludes our scientific understanding today. SUDC UK is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research into Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. 40 children in England and Wales die every year without reason; more young children than to traffic accidents, drowning or fires. The sudden unexplained death of a child is one of the most under-recognised medical tragedies of our time. SUDC UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (charity no 1175413).
