Tough Mudder (Claire Browne, Jean-Michel Alves, Sarah Duncanson)

On Saturday 23rd September Sarah Duncanson, Claire Browne, and Jean-Michel Alves will be tackling Tough Mudder for Starfish Greathearts. For those not familiar, Tough Mudder is a 15km race featuring 30 obstacles along the way. We'll be tackling obstacles like electric shock therapy, tear gas tunnels, barbed wire fences, mud miles, and cage crawls. Any support and/or donations will be greatly appreciated, and will go a long long way in making a difference in the lives of these children. Starfish Greathearts Foundation is committed to bringing life, hope and opportunity to children in South Africa who have been made vulnerable or orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Due to the AIDS pandemic there is a generation of children growing up in South Africa without parental support, relying on increasingly strained communities. These children are exceptionally vulnerable to neglect and abuse. Starfish is a vehicle for delivering change, helping these children to rebuild their lives. Starfish believes that by helping one child at a time, together we can make a difference. The money raised will help Starfish reach even more children and will give them the chance they deserve to succeed in life, for that we are incredibly grateful.
