Education

In countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh there are numerous government schools that lack basic facilities such as boundary walls, washrooms, safe drinking water, classrooms and furniture. In some schools in Tharparkar, students just have the barren dessert and twigs used as a boundary wall. Such children are forced to sit on the floor in the scorching heat of the sun to gain their education. Quba Trust “Education” project fills the gaps by providing missing facilities and constructing classrooms where necessary to ensure children are able to gain an education in a safe and healthy environment. Furthermore, we have seen in most cases that once a school is provided with all the facilities that every child deserves, then parents feel more comfortable sending their children to the schools and this results in doubling, tripling and in some cases quadrupling the numbers of students prior to our intervention.
