The Story

Dear friends and family, In the past year, my family and I have been walking the Thames Path, beginning in rural Gloucestershire and, after many adventures and 180 miles of walking, we are now in central London, 8 miles from the Thames Barrier. I wanted to do this challenge for my barmiztvah to raise money for Masambiro, a charity that as most of you know, was set up by my parents many years ago and has been a huge part of my life, that helps a school in Malawi called Kunyanja. Through the coronavirus, the school has been struggling greatly because children’s families are extremely low on money meaning they can’t afford school fees, and unlike here in the UK, there is no free secondary education. I know many of you give generously to Masambiro already but I’d be so grateful for any support as part of barmitzvah. I'll also be donating and I'm really hoping to visit sometime soon and see Kunyanja for myself. Thanks so much Matti
