The Story
Join us for this workshop as we journey from a slow yoga flow into yogic nidra, also known as yogic sleep, inviting you to enjoy a sense of release, softening and inner stillness.
Yoga nidra is a guided meditation practice that creates a deep state of both physical relaxation and mental awareness. The practice can be done lying down or seated and uses techniques including body scans and mental imagery to guide practitioners into a place of rest.
The goal of the workshop is to access deep restorative rest so that we can enjoy the physical and emotional benefits that this rest can bring.

It is important to us that cost is not a barrier to our community being able to attend workshops. If you are not in a position to donate right now, please contact us on info@lumifoundation.org.uk. If you are in a position to pay more than the suggested amount, the surplus will go towards funding a supported place at the workshop.
All of your donations are most gratefully received.

Lumi Foundation
Lumi Foundation started in 2017 as an outreach
programme to make yoga accessible to all. That year,
we provided over 357 classes to more than 2,800 yogis across communities in the West London area.
Since then, we’ve grown; we now offer over 35 classes per week in shared community spaces across London, including classes delivered through partner charities and organisations we’ve teamed up with.
The belief that yoga is for everyone – regardless of age, race, body type, gender or means – is at the core of our ethos.
Since 2017, we’ve worked with a diverse array of
groups to bring yoga to a wider audience. Adults and
children with disabilities, including visually impaired
people; elderly groups; asylum seekers and refugees;
those in recovery from addiction; survivors of domestic abuse; individuals undergoing cancer treatment; and low-income communities represent just a few of the groups we’ve supported and continue to support over the years.
We couldn't do what we do without your generous support.
