Sponsored sleep out: shining a light on homelessness

Charity begins at home, yet many of the people we help at KEY don't have anywhere to call home. Encouraged by those supported by KEY, on May 13 I am joining other team members in sleeping outdoors overnight, raising much needed funds for this amazing charity. Key helps people who are going through tough times to get back on their feet and catches them before they fall. For more than 25 years, we’ve provided prevention and critical support to people across Lancashire. From helping people to resolve their housing difficulties, find employment and improve their emotional health and wellbeing and more. We’re there when Lancashire needs us. Last year more than 96% of those we helped agreed that we had a positive impact and 100% of stakeholders would recommend us. keycharity.org.uk/real-stories has just some of the inspiring stories of those who we help to help themselves. A donation of £10 will run our homelessness drop-in service for one hour. Helping local people in need to access showers, laundry facilities, food, phones and access to the internet.
