Aibha’s Bicycle Campaign (ABC)

Aibha Loughran (6) is trying to raise money for Head Injury Support (HIS), Newry. She learnt to ride her bike without stabilisers a few weeks ago. When her aunty Sinead was exactly Aibha’s age she fell off her bike. She had no helmet on and acquired a blood clot on her brain, the effects of which meant a long road of more than 10 years to recovery. Thankfully she did fully recover. Sinead is now a primary school teacher and got married last year. Aibha with the help of her sister Lara (4), is going to cycle every day in June to promote the importance of wearing a bicycle helmet. All donations towards her efforts would be greatly appreciated. All money raised will go to HIS who help people in the Armagh/Down area with acquired brain injuries.
