The Story
In 2027, 72 young people from across North London will travel to Poland to attend the 26th World Scout Jamboree — the largest regular international Scouting event, bringing together tens of thousands of young people from almost every country on earth.
Our group represents the full breadth of North London, drawn from communities across the area — including some of the most deprived parts of the country. For many of these young people, this will be their first time travelling abroad. For all of them, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience: living alongside Scouts from nearly every nation, building friendships across cultures, and developing the confidence and leadership skills that come from being part of something far bigger than yourself.
We need to raise £312,000 to get all 72 young people to Poland. We are determined that no young person should miss out because of their family's financial circumstances. A significant portion of the cost also contributes to the global Jamboree solidarity fund, which enables young people from less-advantaged backgrounds and countries to attend as well. Every donation to this page helps make the Jamboree more accessible — both here in North London and around the world.
If you're able to support us, please consider donating or sharing this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring this life-changing experience within reach for a young person who might not otherwise have the chance. Thank you.
