FreeREG provides free access to transcriptions of British registers of baptisms, marriages and burials. We have over 55 million records already transcribed - can you help us make that 200 million? We're currently developing a new version of FreeREG, which is halfway through its transformation. This is a template for the future development of our other sites. We'd like to set up a 'boot camp' for those approaching or in retirement, training them in Ruby and Refinery, so they can contribute to the development and maintenance of this project. Donations will be used for this, or for other expenses, such as servers.
