Giving Tuesday - Support Colombian Caravana this Christmas!

This December, join us for Giving Tuesday, for Christmas sake! In the spirit of the festive season, please make a donation to the Caravana to continue to support human rights and justice in Colombia. This year coronavirus has severely limited Caravana’s fundraising efforts because we have not been able to organise fundraising events. Now more than ever, we need your support. Coronavirus has brought new challenges to the legal profession in Colombia alongside increased attacks on lawyers and human rights defenders, and heightened threats to the independence of the judiciary. Airlie, one of our trustees, is running 20k on cold Sunday 6 December. On Saturday 5 December, Charlotte, our Chair, will be listening to Maria Carey’s famous song ‘All I Want for Christmas’. On repeat. 101 times. Non-stop. For almost seven hours. Gemma, our consultant-coordinator, will do a dancing challenge to Christmas songs and carols for 3 hours which anyone can join to dance along! Our founding director, Sara Chandler is hosting a Christmas Party with poetry and games on Zoom, on Saturday 12 December. Cathy, one of our trustees, has hosted an online cocktail party.
