The Story

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Last summer, our beloved friend and brother, Talha, returned to his Creator while travelling in Pakistan with his family. At just 23 years old, his sudden passing came as a massive shock to us all. He was young, fit, and full of life — a brother whose presence and character touched so many. As his brothers in Islam, it is our duty to honour his memory in a way that brings lasting benefit. Therefore, this Ramadan we have partnered with The Qamar Trust to build water pumps in various countries as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah on Talha’s behalf — a continuous charity that will, insha’Allah, benefit him for years to come. Our goal is to raise £3,000, which will be allocated towards building water pumps for those in need in poorer countries.
