The Story
Sport plays a vital role in school life, helping young people build confidence, develop teamwork, and lead healthy, active lifestyles both in lessons and through extra-curricular clubs.
Over the past two years, thanks to the generosity of our school community at our Sports Presentation Evening, we have raised more than £400. This support has helped us purchase valuable PE equipment and playing kit, directly benefiting our students.
As we continue to grow and expand the opportunities available to our young people, we know the importance of keeping our equipment and resources up to date. At a time when school budgets are increasingly stretched, additional support can make a real difference in helping us go further and provide even more.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help us invest in new equipment, refresh playing kit, and create more opportunities for students to take part, develop their skills, and represent the school with pride.
Thank you for supporting sport in our school and helping us invest in the next generation.
The Mead Educational Trust
The Mead Educational Trust is a family of 8 primary, 6 secondary and 1 special school in Leicester and Leicestershire. We have a 'one-Trust' ethos which means that all our schools support each other to make sure that every child in our care has the best possible start in life.
Our Trust mission is ‘together we make a positive difference’ and our communities are very much at the heart of this. Mead schools serve some of the most deprived communities in Leicester, as well as the most multi-cultural. We place a high priority on supporting our wider communities because we know it has a direct impact on how well our children thrive in school.
Our school staff do an amazing job of supporting children and families, but there is so much more they could achieve with your support and donations. The projects you see here will allow our schools go the extra mile to support our children, families and communities.
