Nikki's 40th Birthday Bash and Fundraising for FQMS

I have been inspired to raise funds for FQMS by Rabia, a passionate Palestinian lawyer, a new cherished friend and a neighbour to my parents. FQMS is a British charity, founded in 1997. They have been working relentlessly for almost 30 years to train doctors in Palestine to perform a full range of complex medical procedures as well as training medical students. They aim to prevent the need for international patient referrals and in turn increase the number of lives saved as well as improve the quality of care given. I am really looking forward to celebrating my birthday with my nearest and dearest this Sunday! Food and entertainment will be provided. We are in for an absolute treat! Rabia and her sister will be making home made Palestinian food. We will also have a stall for the sale of hand made items and jewellery, as part of the fundraiser. 100% of donations your donations will go to the charity, except for the stall items (50% of the money raised will go to FQMS, the rest will cover costs of the items sold). We also managed to wave off the rental fee for the venue! The staff at Clissold are very supportive of this initiative and have been extremely kind. In return I would like to ask you all to please buy plenty of drinks from the bar on Sunday, and to donate generously to FQMS to make this a truly worthwhile and memorable day for us all!
