The Story
So earlier this year we found out that Tiana has been diagnosed with an incredibly rare condition of PDHA1 (PDH Deficiency).
PDH Deficiency can affect all children differently, with most children passing away during childhood, amazingly there is an almost 30 year old supported by The Freya Foundation which is incredible and gives us hope. It’s absolutely shattered our hearts BUT to try and stay positive Tiana turns 13 this year so she is already smashing things and what an amazing girl she is. We found the Freya foundation who have been lovely in helping us understand about it and due to the lack of knowledge, studies and information we want to try and help the Freya foundation with funding to get more information, more help and hopefully more chance of finding a diagnosis. My challenge will consist of the following, on 8th July I will climb Sca Fell Pike the highest mountain in England with 44kg on my back which is Tiana's weight. On the 19th July me and several friends will run 50km from Tyne Green park to Sunderland. Then date to be confirmed but possibly around the middle of September or end of September (will confirm in the next week or so) I’m going to summit and descend Sca Fell Pike 13 times in tribute to my princess turning 13, and possibly several other challenges and lots of fundraisers. I would love if everyone can give the page a share, give the Freya foundation page a like and follow, and if you can feel free to donate. It means the world, honestly

"Good luck Josh mate. Top man!! Great cause!!"
