The Story

In 2024, on the recommendation of the outgoing and previous OUCCC Club Captains (Jared Martin and Thomas Renshaw), The 1876 Trust and OUCCC Committee implemented the Student Regular Giving Programme to build the income stream needed to replace the club's lost sponsorship income and contribute to the 150th Anniversary Campaign endowment fund. Members at the beginning of their final year in OUCCC are asked to contribute a minimum of £15 per quarter via the Student Regular Giving Programme, for three years. It is our hope that we will have 20 regular student givers each year over the coming three years leading up to the Club's 150th Anniversary.

The 1876 Trust

The 1876 Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded in 2024 to support the activities of Oxford University Cross Country Club (OUCCC). The trust aims to fundraise for the club, coordinate its alumni relations, and advise its student committee, thereby ensuring the club’s long-term prosperity and success. The 1876 Trust aims to have a transformative impact, supporting cross country running at the University of Oxford in a way that is inclusive and open to all students, as well as encouraging success at the highest level. We invite you to join us on this journey, whether by supporting our activities of donating to our fund.
