Padbury CE School Building Project

As a school community, we are thrilled to see our school at full capacity, reflecting the growing trust and enthusiasm parents and families have for the quality of education offered. However, as our student body continues to grow, so too do the diverse needs of our learners. The school wants to ensure they can continue to provide the best possible support and learning environments for all our children and have identified the need for an additional teaching room for children. This room will allow children of all abilities to focus on their learning without the interruptions of the wider classroom environment. Whether students need extra support in specific areas, or simply require a quiet space to concentrate, this additional room will provide a crucial resource to ensure that every child can achieve their potential. To help fund this project we, the PFA, are reaching out to our school community for support. The PFA understand that this improvement requires significant investment. By asking the parent population for any contributions you can make—whether large or small—we hope to support the school to bring about these changes faster than traditional fund-raising methods. Your support will not only benefit the children in our care today but will also ensure that future generations of students have the best possible learning environment. The PFA fundraising throughout the year will contribute, where possible, to fund this project. However, the PFA are keen that activities such as the School Discos, Panto and end of term treats still continue to happen, so we do not want all our funds diverted to the new venture. The valuable funds raised throughout the year already go towards lowering costs for all pupils in terms of coach fundings and allow teachers to provide additional resources in the classroom. With this in mind, this letter is focused on fund-raising outside of the PFA’s normal activities. This is a project specific fundraising pot, separate to the student fundraising methods. We hope that you will share this link widely to friends, families, employers - in fact anyone you feel can contribute to our cause. Thank you for your continued support of our school.
