She was found abandoned at a factory, so thin and covered in filth that she barely looked like a puppy at all. Even worse, her tiny body carried the cruel mark of human hands — her leg had been deliberately cut off. Tragically, she is not the first. A few years ago, another puppy was discovered in the same place, missing the same leg. Despite the pain and fear she endured, Thalia has shown nothing but courage. In our care, she has slowly learned to trust again. With surgery, her damaged leg was removed completely so she could finally walk without the added weight. And she did it — she recovered, stood tall on three legs, and began to discover that life can be kind. Now, for the first time, Thalia has an extraordinary opportunity: a loving foster home abroad is waiting to welcome her, a safe haven where she can continue to heal and blossom until her forever family finds her. But to get her there, we need your help. We’ve arranged a direct flight and courier so her journey will be as safe and stress-free as possible — but this comes with a heavy cost for our small charity.
