🚨 TOMORROW IS AMLET'S BIRTHDAY..🚨

🚨 TOMORROW IS AMLET'S BIRTHDAY... AND WE ARE BEGGING YOU TO READ THIS 🚨 1,256 days. That's how long Amlet has been waiting. 3 years, 5 months and 7 days in our shelter. Tomorrow, Amlet turns 8 years old. Before arriving at the shelter, he spent years living a life no dog should ever know. He was tied to a chain barely a metre long, surviving on stale bread thrown to him every few days and drinking from filthy green water. When Veterinary Services finally removed him from those conditions, we promised him something better. A family. A soft bed. A chance to be loved. But somehow, despite all our hopes, that day never came. Amlet is a black, middle-aged Labrador with a few manageable health issues. Nothing that stops him enjoying life. Nothing that stops him loving people. Yet year after year, families chose other dogs. Dogs arrived and left. Amlet stayed. And stayed. And stayed. Over time, this special boy crawled into the hearts of every volunteer who knew him. We stopped counting how many times we suggested Amlet to potential adopters, only to hear another "no". Until now. After 1,256 days, somebody finally said YES. A foster application was submitted. A family chose Amlet. For the first time in years, we dare to believe that Amlet's life may finally be about to begin. But we need your help to get him there. 💔 We urgently need to raise £750 to make Amlet's journey to his foster home possible. This could be his only chance. His first soft bed. His first warm home. His first birthday celebrated as part of a family. Please don't let money be the reason Amlet spends another day on a concrete floor. ❤️ CAN YOU HELP? 💷 Target: £750 🐾 Donate £5 if you can 🐾 Donate more if you're able 🐾 Share this post if you can't donate Every single pound brings Amlet closer to home.
