The Story
6 ladies. 45 miles. 3 days. One reason: the animals who need us.
This weekend, I’m taking on a challenge that is going to ache! Walking 45 miles (not km as I thought 😂) over three days, from Findhorn to Cullen, along the beautiful Moray Coast Trail.
It won’t be easy. There will be sore legs, long days, and moments where I’ll want to stop. But every mile has a purpose.
I’m doing this for the animals who don’t have a voice.
For the ones born on the streets and the ones waiting for help that may never come unless someone steps in.
Half of everything I raise through this page will go directly to SuperDogs Rescue, the rescue organisation i helped establish and support. SuperDogs works tirelessly to rescue abandoned dogs from Cyprus, provide urgent medical care, and give them the chance to start again through rehoming in the UK. The need never stops and neither do the costs.
The other half will support the work my friend Melina does in Cyprus; rescuing street cats and kittens, covering emergency vet care, neutering, and carrying out ongoing TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return) efforts. These cats often have no one else at all. Many are sick, injured, or born into impossible conditions. She takes them in and pays for their treatment because if she doesn’t, often nobody else will. She puts their needs before her own every single day.
This walk will be tough. I am definitely NOT ready for it! But the animals we help face far tougher challenges just to survive.
By donating to my fundraiser, you’re helping fund real, practical lifesaving rescue of countless dogs and cats, vet bills, neutering programmes, safe shelter, and second chances. You’re helping us to keep saying yes when another animal needs help, instead of having to turn away because the funds simply aren’t there.
This is my one big passion and if you can donate, I’m deeply grateful.
Every mile I walk is for them — and every donation truly changes a life. 🐾💙
Thank you for supporting me.
