Action 4 Inclusion

Creating an opportunity for inclusion through education #Action4Inclusion is a crowdfunding initiative that helps to minimise student debt and unlock students’ potential to contribute to our country and continent. This campaign is supported by Prof. Thuli Madonsela, Law Trust Chair for Social Justice at Stellenbosch University. Many students in South Africa are overburdened by university fee debts. The burden of historic debt owed to universities by students from poor and working-class families is of great concern. This massive debt situation means that students are unable to register for the new academic year and subsequently cannot complete their tertiary qualifications. No student should be denied access to education based on their financial struggles. SU recognises the need for partnerships that aid in broadening access for students.
