Barnett Waddingham Coffee Morning Fundraiser

Barnett Waddingham are holding a "Coffee Morning" and anything raised will be donated to The Samantha Sykes Foundation Trust. As we are holding a raffle to raise funds for The Samantha Sykes Foundation this is not eligible for ‘Gift Aid’, so you are unable to Gift Aid when making your donation. This charity supports young people, who are in the care of The Local Authority or are Care Leavers, it supports these young people to gain access to higher and further education. Being ranked among the top 100 nationwide companies demonstrates their commitment to high quality, supportive apprenticeships. They are committed to encouraging young people reach their full potential in a dynamic, caring environment. The awards aim to highlight and reward excellence amongst employers who offer apprenticeships and school leaver opportunities across the UK. Scores are based solely on the reviews written by apprentices on RateMyApprenticeship.co.uk. It is proven that only 6% of Care Leavers go on to further and higher education, with the support of the SSFT, the aim is to ensure more young people are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Many of these young people are estranged from their families and receive no financial support, anything raised will help some of those young people, who will then be able to look for full time employment. These young people, with support from The Samantha Sykes Foundation Trust., may be fortunate enough to find employment in businesses such as Barnett Waddingham, who have identified young people are our future. The charity is 100% run by volunteers so all funds raised will go directly to young people.
