The Story
POBTrust is a Pakistan registered non-profit NGO specializing in eye care.
Construction has started on POB Eye Hospital Lahore. Total cost of construction and fit out is estimated at 25 crore rupees (250 million rupees, circa £1.1million).
This is an amazing opportunity for Zakat, Sadqa and other Alms. Please donate to this cause to bring light where there was darkness before. POBTrust has so far:
- Multi day 788 surgical eye camps across 22 countries and 58 districts in Pakistan
- Examined over 1.7 million patients
- Carried out over 200,000 cataract surgeries
- Gathered hundreds of experienced eye surgeons who provide free surgeries to the needy
- Work with many international NGO partners to bring eye care to the poor and needy

PakTrust.org was established as a direct result of the devastating earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir in 2005. A group of London-based professional family members, friends, relatives and supporters were spurred into action by the earthquake. Our original mission was to provide emergency relief and assistance to the earthquake victims.
Since then, our mission has been to implement charitable projects in Pakistan and Kashmir. Our projects provide maximum value for money for those providing the funds, and maximum help to the people that need it the most.
PakTrust.org is a small charity, but in a short period of time with loyal support, we have successfully implemented many projects and schemes serving hundreds of thousands families, helping some of the poorest people in society.
PoBTrust and PakTrust.org collaboration extends over many years, together they have undertaken many successful projects for the benefit of underprivileged through Pakistan.
