The Story

This year’s four chosen LISW25 charities are the Merchant Navy Welfare Board, International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF), Project Connect, and Sir Thomas Lipton Foundation – all of whom represent different parts of the maritime world. All four charities, who were recognised for their impactful proposals and alignment with this year’s themes of innovation and change management, will be in full force across the week to raise their profile and promote their work. Together, these charities help deliver the lifeblood of our sector: • They find and empower the next generation of seafarers. • They rescue lives in maritime emergencies. • They care for seafarers in their darkest moments. • And they nurture talented young people into purposeful maritime careers. Every donation will be shared equally between these four impactful charities. Whatever you can offer will go directly towards strengthening our industry.
