The Story
The Mission: A Grand Restoration
Our beloved piano is the heart of the London Repertoire Orchestra, but years of beautiful music have taken their toll.
To keep us playing at our best, we need to raise £2,000 for essential repairs and upgrades.
Once the piano is at a concert standard, we plan to do Mozart K.488, Bernstein Age of Anxiety and Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3.

London Repertoire Orchestra
Your contributions will go directly toward:
A Complete Re-regulation: Restoring the touch and responsiveness of the keys.
A-Frame Support Repair: Ensuring the piano remains structurally sound and safe.
A New Piano Stool: Providing much-needed comfort and stability for our pianists.
Tina’s 352km Walkathon
To kickstart this project, our leader, Tina, is taking on a massive challenge! Throughout the month of May 2026, Tina will be walking 352 km to raise the funds needed for these repairs. That's 4km a key!
Whether you are an LRO player or a supporter of the local arts, we invite you to join Tina on this journey by making a donation.
How You Can Help:
While any donation—no matter the size—is hugely appreciated, you can make your mark by Sponsoring a Key.
Sponsor a Key (£22): There are 88 keys on a piano. By sponsoring one, you are directly funding the re-regulation that makes the music possible.
General Donation: Every pound brings us closer to our £2,000 goal and supports the repair of the A-frame and our new stool.
