The Story
Who?
Eleven of us, all from East Lothian - Rachel, Cara, Josh, Lily, Rae, Conover, Eilidh, Jacob, Farrah, Siri and Tane.
What?
We will be walking 12km from Gullane Beach to North Berwick Beach, along the beautiful East Lothian coast.
When?
Sunday 31st May, starting at 10am and finishing in North Berwick - hopefully! - at around 2:30pm.
Why?
For her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, Rachel is volunteering for Kipawa and has organised this walk as part of that. Kipawa is a small Scottish based charity which supports children and families in Kenya. You can find out more about their great work at kipawa.org.uk and all the money we raise will help to provide school lunches and other important support.
Kipawa Trust International
Kipawa Trust International is a Scottish-based charity providing feeding programmes and other health and counselling services for children and families living in poverty in Kenya.
We are currently focused on helping the children of Mukuyu and Mutundu Schools, in the Ruiru area of Kenya, North of Nairobi.
