The Story
Sukh Ghosh is taking on the challenge of climbing MOUNT TOUBKAL, in the ATLAS MOUNTAINS of MOROCCO - the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167 metres. Between 15th & 19th September he will trek through dramatic Berber villages and rugged alpine terrain to reach the peak at Jebel Toubakal. On 15th September he will land at Marrakesh and drive to Imlil (at 1,740m), where he starts the trek. On 16th he plans to trek past Aremd Berber village & through the Ait Mizane Valley. On 17th midday he aims to reach Sisi Chamarouch at 2,310m. On the 18th he will ascend to Toubkal Refuge at 3,207m. On 19th he will rise very early to make his pre-dawn summit push to the summit of Jebel Toubka l(MOUNT TOUBKAL).

HEARTLINK is a local charity providing advice and support to people living with heart conditions, especially those undergoing or recovering from hospital treatment who live in Southall, Greenford, Hanwell, Ealing and across West London. We also work in the wider community and with key health partners to promote services and facilities for all heart patients in the borough of Ealing. We campaign widely out in the community, where we can reach large numbers, to raise awareness about heart disease and heart health, and to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. We are a registered charity with strong links to the British Heart Foundation. Our Registered Charity number is 1199840. Our base is Ealing Hospital and our Trustees include cardiologists and other senior staff from the Hospital. We were formed at Ealing Hospital in 1994 by Professor Kooner, who is our President.
