Gloucester City Mission
Introduction: Gloucester City Mission (GCM) is an established, well-respected charity with an excellent record of delivering high quality services to people who are rough sleeping, homeless and/or vulnerable in and around the City of Gloucester. Since 2003 we have supported over 45,000 people through our holistic programme of support. We offer hope to people so that their lives can change, through the provision of practical, physical, and spiritual help.
Our work: The people who access our services, our homeless community, cannot always access mainstream support or health services due to their chaotic lifestyle, vulnerability, disadvantage and multiple converging needs. They are sometimes deemed ‘hard to reach’ or ‘underserved’ by those services. To address this issue and best serve our homeless community we have co-created a programme of holistic ‘wrap-a-around’ support which a client can access on their journey with us, which falls under three headings: Aid, Transformation and Growth.
