The Story
We are a charity with 15 years of experience in helping those most in need in Kenya who suffered trauma leading to broken bones.

Our partnered hospitals of Kenya do not have the finances to provide standard Anaesthetic gas monitoring and Surgical equipment to safely and efficiently provide care for their patients.
We aim to raise £10000 for vital equipment to make anaesthesia and surgery safer in poorer parts of Kenya. Our Volunteers in exchange will work together side by side with our Kenyan colleagues and provide the knowledge and skills in their safe use.
We would greatly appreciate your donation and ensure it goes directly into patient care.
Future Health Africa
Traumatic injuries are a major cause of death and disability world-wide, particularly in Africa. Patients are often unable to access treatment due to lack of surgeons or the ability to pay for surgery.
Trauma Team, made up of volunteer NHS staff, aims to reduce suffering, disability and poverty, particularly due to traumatic injuries, by undertaking surgical assessments and procedures on children and adults with the host team.
Knowledge and Skills exchange takes place through working together and learning together, side-by-side with Kenyan surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, orthopaedic technicians, radiographers and physiotherapists.
In partnership, the host hospital and the Trauma Team together, work towards creating and improving the Trauma service that host hospital is striving for.
