Farewell and Thank you to Eugene!

We are sad to share that our wonderful caretaker is taking early retirement this December. Please show your appreciation for all he has done for our school and community. We will miss him! Message from Mrs M Dear Parents and Carers, I am writing to share some important news about a very special member of our Rathfern community. After many years of dedicated service, our incredible Premises Officer will be retiring at the end of this term. He is beyond exceptional — the kind of Premises Officer every headteacher would feel truly blessed to have. His relentless commitment to keeping our site safe, secure, and happy has touched the lives of every child, staff member, and family. He is honestly one in a million, and his absence will be felt beyond measure. Quite simply, he will be impossible to replace. As he begins this next chapter, we wish him rest, joy, and the time to enjoy all the things he has so generously put aside to serve our community so wholeheartedly.
