The Story
The Discovery Fundraising Squad are a team of student volunteers who take on individual fundraising activities to raise funds for projects and other charities that make a difference to people in and around Swansea. Each term we focus on a different area of need.
For the period of Jan-April 2021 we are going to be raising funds for Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, who do a lot of good work in the Swansea area.
As a Discovery Volunteer we will be taking on a challenge of walking/running/skipping a distance of 200 miles to help raise funds to support the 200,000 plus homeless households in the UK.
