Defibrillators and evacuations chairs

Hello! My training partners from Tiger Crane Kung Fu and I are fundraising for the Claremont Project (claremont-project.org), a small charity involved in the organisation of social activities for isolated and elder people. In our Tiger Crane Kung Fu club (tigercranekungfu.com), we train Chinese Martial Arts, learning to control body, mind, and spirit. Respect to elderly, filial piety, is part of our discipline. This is one of the reasons, as a club, we are fundraising the Claremont Project. The goal is to buy a defibrillator and 2 emergency evacuation chairs. The defibrillator is something which could save someone’s life. It significantly increases the chance of heart attack survival over manual CPR. The device is automatic, meaning that it talks to the responder and tells them what to do – very little, if any, training is needed. The evacuation chairs are important in being able to get people who are not easily able to be helped downstairs in the event of a fire. Our challenge is repeating our first pattern 33 times!
