Sponsor a Chorister

Sponsoring a chorister gives a child far more than musical training; it opens the door to confidence, belonging, and lifelong opportunity. Sponsorship helps fund expert vocal tuition, music resources, instrument tuning, and essential educational support at The King’s School. Each chorister’s training costs around £3,000 per year, with a minimum sponsorship of £1,500, and only a small proportion is covered by grants. This support ensures that children with musical potential, regardless of background, can thrive as part of one of the country’s oldest choral traditions. Singing at around 350 services and events each year, the choir brings the Cathedral to life and sustains a vital, living connection between this historic place and young people from across the city, carrying forward a musical legacy spanning more than a thousand years.
