Work at New Heights Snowdon Challenge

LOF office furniture aim to take an office desk and chair to the top of Mount Snowden and raise money for Peterborough Cathedral. As a celebration of Peterborough’s favourite used office furniture company, LOF Office Furniture, becoming part of The LOF Group, the team take on the ‘Work at New Heights’ Snowdon Challenge. The LOF Group are attempting to take a refurbished office desk and chair up the 3,560 feet and build the workstation at the summit, while raising money for the Peterborough Cathedral. Nicola Ford, Senior Partner of The LOF Group, had this to say about the challenge “As a company we have wanted to do more with local charities raising money as a team rather than individual fundraising. What better way to raise money for the beautifully preserved Peterborough Cathedral, than taking a couple of our refurbished products to the summit of Mount Snowdon.” LOF Office Furniture has been supporting Peterborough businesses with refurbished office furniture for over 50 years. Now setting their sights on office challenges which have not been done before as part of LOF’s plan for ‘extreme desking’. A spokesperson from Peterborough Cathedral added, “We are thrilled and grateful for the LOF team’s imaginative support. This challenge is not only impressive in spirit but also a wonderful example of our community coming together to help preserve our Cathedral for generations to come.” To share the support, companies that donate to The LOF Group challenge will be included in one of the squares on the desk top!
