The Story
Your Help Can Send Our Students to Mexico!
This year our students are involved in an expedition to Mexico where they will be involved with a world-wide conservation programme.
The students have spent the last two years working hard to fund this trip of a lifetime themselves, so we are reaching out for your help to contribute to their adventure.
The students need to buy essential equipment for the trip so any money gratefully donated will support their cause.
The students have managed to secure a range of wonderful gifts, including Chatsworth hamper, Two vouchers for Afternoon tea at Chatsworth, Family of four tickets to the Yorkshire Wildlife park, £50 amazon voucher, 30minute one to one golf session at Barlborough Links Golf Club and many, many more wonderful prizes.
Each raffle ticket costs £5 and your name will be in the draw for one of our amazing prizes! The more tickets you buy, the more chances of winning.
The draw for the raffle will be drawn on 12th June 2023. Good Luck everyone!!

In July a small group of students are volunteering to work with a wildlife conservation charity called Operation Wallacea - https://www.opwall.com/expeditions/school-expedition/mexico/
They will be traveling to a remote part of Mexico, Calakmul to study the Meso-American Rainforest for one week and the following week will be at a Marine site, Akumal. The students will receive specialist training in order for them to complete a range of different surveys such as large mammal transect surveys in the jungle to collecting data on the coral reef diversity and turtle populations as part of a global conservation programme.
