A Family’s World Changed in a Moment — Please Help
On the morning of 21 September 2026, a family in Warminster, Bath, woke to a tragedy no one could have imagined. Xavier Lonappan, aged 44, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his wife, Nija Jose, and their three young children, aged just 12, 5 and 2.
Xavier had gone to sleep the previous night, expecting to wake up to another ordinary day. When his alarm went on and he did not respond, his eldest son went to wake him and found him cold and unresponsive. Neighbours came to help and CPR was given until the ambulance arrived. Sadly, Xavier could not be revived. A post-mortem is currently pending.
Xavier and Nija came to the UK three years ago as carers, working hard to build a better future for their children. They had been planning to travel to India for a family wedding. Instead, Nija is now facing the unimaginable task of raising three children without her husband and their father.
The family is also facing serious financial difficulties, including a loan of around ₹20 lakh and ongoing rent of approximately £900 per month. With both of Xavier's parents already having passed away, the family has lost not only a husband and father, but a vital source of support.
Please help this family through their darkest time.
We are raising funds to support Xavier's funeral and repatriation, immediate living expenses, the children's needs, and the family's outstanding financial commitments.
