A Heartbreaking Loss - Help Us Support Teena Seljo’s Family It is with deep sorrow we share the passing of Teena Seljo (38), who bravely battled cancer for over a year. Teena passed away yesterday evening at Douglas Macmillan Hospital, leaving behind her loving husband Seljo John and two young daughters, Angelina and Andrea. Originally from Koothattukulam, Kerala, Teena arrived in the UK two years ago with her family on a carer visa, hoping to build a better future. But life took a cruel turn when she was diagnosed with cancer shortly after settling here. She returned to Kerala for initial treatment and, with unwavering strength, came back to the UK and resumed her work. Tragically, the cancer later spread to her brain. Despite undergoing brain surgery, radiation, and other intensive treatments at Royal Stoke Hospital, her condition deteriorated, and she was moved to the hospice for palliative care. Teena’s final wish was to return home to see her little girls and her parents one last time. Sadly, that wish remained unfulfilled. Efforts were underway to bring her children to the UK on emergency visas, but fate had other plans. Teena's untimely passing has left her family shattered and in need of our support especially her young children, who are now left without their mother’s love and care.
