Sojan Thomas Appeal

We are deeply saddened to share the tragic news of Sojan Thomas, a devoted husband and loving father, who unexpectedly lost his life following a devastating accident at his home in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Sojan had only been in the UK for ten months, working tirelessly in Morrison’s meat processing section to support his family. His wife, Sajanimol, arrived in the UK on a Senior Care Visa and has been working in a nursing home to make ends meet. Their dreams of a better future have now been shattered by this heartbreaking loss. Sojan leaves behind his grieving wife and their two young children—an 18-year-old daughter who has just completed her Plus Two education in Kerala, awaiting university admission, and a 15-year-old son who is preparing for his GCSE exams. Already struggling with financial hardships, the family is now facing an unimaginable crisis. On that fateful day, Sojan tragically fell down the stairs from the first floor. Emergency medical services responded immediately, but despite their best efforts, he succumbed to severe head and spinal injuries. Doctors suspect that the fall may have been triggered by heart failure, but the exact cause of death remains unknown pending postmortem results. With Sojan gone, his wife and children are left without financial security, struggling to cover even their basic daily needs. This grieving family desperately needs our prayers, love, and support. We are launching this urgent fundraising appeal to help cover funeral and repatriation expenses, immediate living costs for the family, and educational support for the children.
