The Story
Hi Friends ,
My name is Manoj Parameswaran, and I work as a renal nurse at the Northampton Dialysis Unit. Originally from Vaikom, Kerala, I have been living in England for the past 23 years.
My wife, Deepa Krishnan, from Kallara, Kottayam, is also a dedicated nurse, working at St Matthews Healthcare in Northampton. We are blessed with two wonderful children: our son, Kiran Manoj, is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Bath and also works part-time as a professional Maths tutor. Our daughter, Keerthi Manoj, is preparing to begin Year 10.
Throughout my career in healthcare, I have always been passionate about supporting those in need both in my local community and beyond. Over the years, I have actively contributed to a number of charitable organisations and community initiatives, always guided by a strong sense of purpose and compassion.
It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I am taking part in “Walk with Muthukad: Change Lives through BMCF.”
This charity walk supports the incredible work of the Beyond Magical Care Foundation (BMCF), which is committed to establishing a dedicated institute for differently abled children in Kasaragod, Kerala, India. This initiative, led by the inspiring Sri Gopinath Muthukad a renowned magician and motivational speaker is a cause close to my heart and one that my entire family stands behind.
“Walk With Muthukad; Change lives thru BMCF " & ” BMCF '/M Cube Magic Moments"
On Sunday 19th October 2025, the suburbs of Leicestershire will come alive with the power of unity, compassion and magic as Gopinath Muthukad – world-renowned magician turned humanitarian – leads a heartwarming initiative to transform the lives of children with disabilities. Through “Walk with Muthukad – Change Lives thru BMCF” & "BMCF M'Cube Magic Moments"we aim to raise crucial funds for the International Institute for Children with Disabilities at Kasaragod, Kerala, India – a world-class centre offering care, education and empowerment to differently-abled children.
The participants get an ample opportunity to walk and chat with a reputed and well-known magician Mr. Gopinath Muthukad at 11 AM at Beacon Hill Park, Leicester along with the great participation to raise funds for a noble cause The walk trails through the park will be for around an hour.
"BMCF M'Cube Magic Moments"
The charity walk in the morning sets the tone for a day dedicated to hope, culminating in the grand evening of magic moments with Muthukad at Prajapati Hall, Leicester blending magic, music, and motivation at 4 PM. All contributions will go directly towards the construction and operation of the Kasaragod institute, which is set to open its doors by 2029.
To mark this event as a very special occasion, British Malayali Charity Foundation has also decided to honour one of the local community charities in UK, as always has been doing, in their outstanding services being rendered to the needy people in the society. As such, British Malayali Charity Foundation will be giving an amount of £ 1,000.00 to Open Hands Leicester, one of the leading community charities from Leicester as a token of solidarity and gratitude in their relentless efforts in supporting many deserving people in and around Leicestershire.
