Fundraising Appeal for the Family of Late Jeese Jose With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the tragic and unexpected passing of our beloved friend and brother, Jeese Jose (49), from Kidangoor Kunnappilly Family, Angamaly, who passed away at 00:45 on 10/05/2026 in Paris, France. Jeese had travelled to Paris by road along with his cousins and friends for a short trip. During the journey, tragedy struck suddenly when he collapsed in his hotel room. His cousins immediately called the ambulance, CPR was administered, and he was rushed to European Hospital Georges Pompidou, Paris, where doctors performed emergency surgery in a desperate attempt to save his life. Despite all efforts, Jeese sadly passed away. Jeese was a kind-hearted, humble, and active member of the Derby Malayali Association and Angamaly Sangamam, always ready to support community activities and help others with a smiling face. He came to the UK around 5 years ago with dreams of building a better future for his family. Jeese worked as a Facility Assistant in NHS Leicester, while his wife Joicy George serves as a dedicated nurse at New Lodge Nursing Home. The family is currently on a work permit visa and has no permanent residency status, making this devastating situation even more difficult financially and emotionally. Joicy is now left alone, pregnant, and caring for their two young daughters, Isla Maria Jeese 12 years and Inara Jeese 2 years, while also facing the unimaginable pain of losing her husband so suddenly in a foreign country. Back home in India, Jeese’s elderly parents, who are not working, and his sister are shattered by this heartbreaking loss. The local Malayali associations in Paris are supporting the immediate procedures to repatriate Jeese’s mortal remains to India. Derby Malayali Association is currently discussing the release of £1000 from its Emergency Relief Fund and plans to associate with the British Malayali Charity Foundation (BMCF) in supporting the bereaved family during this difficult time. We humbly appeal to everyone to come together and support Jeese’s family financially and prayerfully.
