Fundraising for Chinju Thomas

With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Chinchu Thomas (34), who died on 9 July 2026, just two days after giving birth to her fourth child, a baby girl born on 7 July 2026. Chinchu, originally from Karakkurissi, Palakkad, had been living in the UK for the past four years. She worked as a theatre staff member at Boston Hospital and was the main work visa holder for her family. She leaves behind her devastated husband, Emil, and their four young children aged 8, 6, 2, and a newborn baby girl. Chinchu's parents are currently in the UK, having travelled to support the family during the birth. As the family faces unimaginable grief, they also face immediate financial challenges, including funeral expenses and the ongoing care of four young children. The British Malayali Charity Foundation (BMCF) is appealing to our community to come together and support Emil and his children during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden and provide some stability for the family as they begin to rebuild their lives.
