The Story
With deep sorrow, we share the passing of Mrs. Blessy Samson (Leicester) on 21st September 2025. Blessy was a devoted wife, loving mother to two daughters aged 17 and 12, and a woman of quiet strength and deep faith.
Blessy and her husband, Mr. Samson, moved to the UK in March 2023 on a carer’s visa. Unfortunately, due to severe health challenges, Blessy could only work for five months before her condition worsened, leaving her unable to continue employment. Since then, she had been receiving ongoing medical treatment.
Mr. Samson later received a work permit and became the sole breadwinner for the family. Despite working tirelessly, the family has been struggling to manage day-to-day expenses on a single income while also caring for their two young daughters.
Blessy originally hailed from Thiruvalla, Ranni, though she was raised in Madhya Pradesh and completed her education in Bangalore. Her parents still reside in Kerala. It was her heartfelt wish that, upon her passing, she be laid to rest in her home state of Kerala.
The family is now seeking support to repatriate Blessy's body to Kerala to honour her final wish and to help ease the significant financial strain they are under.
Her daughters are navigating an incredibly difficult time coping not only with the loss of their beloved mother but also with serious financial hardship.
We kindly ask for your support in this time of need. Any contribution, however small, will go a long way in helping the family fulfil Blessy’s final wish and bring some stability to their lives during this heartbreaking period.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
