The Story
Rotary’s Inter Country Committees are working with local Rotarians inside Ukraine and in bordering countries to establish what is needed to support displaced refugees and find safe routes for money. Money is being donated to Rotary Districts in the ‘refugee zone’ (Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Moldova) and our District team has the account details and has safe routes to ensure money reaches those who need it most. Our Club plans to donate to Rotary’s Disaster Response Fund. All moneys received by 30th April will qualify for use in support of Disaster Response Grants for the Ukrainian relief efforts so our money can work even harder!
