The Story

Climate change is having a huge effect in Zambia and the rains failed recently resulting in a catastrophic drought. At our Learning Centre we need to make some changes and improvements to capture and store as much water as possible and create a culture whereby every drop of water is vital. In addition to needing more water to make the Centre function effectively, many local children rely on us for clean drinking water. We are building two water reservoir pits and hope to install guttering on buildings to capture rainwater, pipes to move it around and various other measures. The good news is MATCH FUNDING IS BACK! Every pound you donate will be doubled and will help us to reach our target quicker. Many thanks for your support.
