The Story

Myself and As Siraj have come together to raise money for the education of children in Jordan. The children we aim to support in this project are Jordanians and refugees from Palestine and Syria - most of these children are either orphans or from poor families. In 2016, a Friday school was founded to help children that are experiencing learning difficulties while attending the government schools. These schools usually have 60+ students in each class which can result in vulnerable students being overlooked. Our team in Jordan bring the most affected students every Friday to teach them Maths, English and Arabic. Alongside education, we also provide students with transportation, breakfast, stationery, school bags and educational facilities. During the month of Ramadan we take the children out on fun excursions (amusement parks, educational/comical plays, etc.) and provide iftars. The Prophet said: “Whoever teaches some knowledge will have the reward of the one who acts upon it, without that detracting from his reward in the slightest.” Follow us on social media for updates on this project and future projects.
